MEYER BEN-REUVEN - PRESIDENT & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Meyer Ben-Reuven is the founder and current President of Chelsea Technologies. Mr. Ben-Reuven received his Bachelor's degree in both Math and Computer Science from New York University. Mr. Ben-Reuven was first introduced to Wall Street in 1987 where he became a member of the trading room redevelopment team at Chase Manhattan Bank. Some of his responsibilities included infrastructure projects as well as application development for numerous departments. Mr. Ben-Reuven has been an advisor to Chelsea Technologies’ customers and has made Chelsea Technologies an innovative and qualitative entrepreneurship. Mr. Ben-Reuven has devised both business solutions to complex issues as well as simple methodology for execution. Other than being the President of the company, Mr. Ben-Reuven heads the Research Department where he invests his time in looking for the next innovation that will be incorporated to the various solutions Chelsea Technologies offers its clients to make them more organized, resilient and cost effective. Mr. Ben-Reuven lives in Miami with his wife and two children.
KIRK JOHNSON - DIRECTOR OF NORTHEAST OPERATIONS
Kirk has over ten years of experience in Information Technology, including the last seven years in the Hedge Fund industry. His initial exposure in the Hedge Fund industry was as a network engineer for a Hedge Fund integration firm in NYC from 2001-2004, where he worked on several large projects including new implementations, relocations and disaster recovery services. In 2004, he was hired as Vice President of Operations at Stadia Capital, where he managed the entire technology infrastructure, was responsible for their office relocation, designed and maintained their BCP and Disaster Recovery Site. As the Client Services Director, Kirk managed and maintained all client relationships and project implementations. As the new Director of NorthEast Opearations he is being elevated to a new challege and the management is confident he will deliver on the goals set. Kirk lives in Long Island, New York with his wife and daughter.
NATALIA MURILLO - VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE
Since receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Science from Universidad de Lima, Peru, Natalia has been working in finance since 1997. Prior to joining Chelsea Technologies, she was a business analyst at Cargill Americas Peru for six years. As the Vice President of Finance, Natalia manages the entire financial division of Chelsea Technologies. She is responsible for preparing, interpreting and analyzing financial statements while coordinating schedules and activities with the Operations and Client Services departments to provide and prepare analysis reports. Natalia lives in South Florida with her husband and daughter. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and playing tennis.
PHILIP YU - CHIEF ADVISORY OFFICER
With nearly 15 years of experience in IT and business management, Philip has played a pivotal role in Chelsea Technologies' recognition by management in the alternative investment industry through his relationships within prime brokerage firms. Prior to joining Chelsea Technologies, Philip was an IT executive at Lehman Brothers for eight years. As the Chief Advisory Officer, Philip is responsible for new client acquisition and business development for the firm. Philip is a graduate of Rutgers University and currently resides in New Jersey with his wife and daughter.
RON PORTER - DIRECTOR OF SALES AND MARKETING
Ron joins the Chelsea Technology team as Director of Sales and Marketing with more than thirty years of business experience. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of Idaho while also earning All American honors as a linebacker on the football team. After graduation, Ron was drafted by head coach, Don Shula, with the Baltimore Colts in 1967. His professional football career included performances in Super Bowl III and VIII and spanned nearly a decade. In appreciation of his outstanding leadership achievements, Ron was inducted into the Idaho Hall of Fame in 1997 and the Northern California Sports Hall of Fame in 2004. After a successful professional football career, Ron entered the business world where he continues to embrace the advances in technology. Most recently, he was President and CEO of South Beach Management, Inc. with extensive experience in sales and marketing including technology, website design and management. His clients have included acclaimed Hollywood actress, Vanessa Williams, America’s number one tennis player, Andy Roddick and Olympic ice skating sensation, Emily Hughes. Ron enjoys balancing any extra time working as a volunteer for children’s charities. He is a past- president and long term member of the NFL Alumni-South Florida Chapter. In addition, he has helped produce multiple events for charitable organizations with complex diversity such as celebrity concerts with Elton John and Lionel Richie. Ron currently resides, with his wife, Doris, in Coral Springs, Florida. Their son Derek, age twenty-four, is a graduate of the University of North Carolina where he excelled as a scholarship athlete and Captain of their top nationally ranked tennis team.
